Ice T Law and Order 2

On April 25, 2009 I met Law and Order's actor/entertainer Ice T. to film his part in a new and upcoming song 'Cake'. He spoke about the state of hip hop and how the movement changed. Ice added how he is creating a level of artist to bring the original hip hop movement to it's origin.



My Boi Skandoe got a call from his rapper friends that they need someone to record Ice T part in a new music video called Cake. He asked me if I could possibly help and I didn't hesitate to do so. We needed a Green Screen room and aHD Camera. 1 day to go find both and we made calls to everyone we could think could help. I called STARR, she knew a place and the people we extremely happy to help accommodate us. STARR played a major role as she always does and I'm truly blessed by the relationship we are building. Now, we have a green screen studio, how do we find aHD camera. That was another mission in itself once we arrived to New York to find B and H closed and closed the next day. We spent 5 hours in Manhattan, 3 of which was traffic. I love NY.

HD camera now accomplished, thank you God. Once we got home, the immediate focus was preparation. Tapes marked, batteries charging, equipment packed. A long night and anticipating Saturday to arrive with everyone showing up on time. Tupac's crew the OUTLAWZ showed up with Fatal and ALI Bang, as we took pictures before Ice T arrival, the vans were packed and we began documenting. Once Ice T pulled up in front of my house my little quiet town wasn't so quiet any more. Just a few people from the area saw Ice and Coco but it was nice to see themsurprised. We got on our mission to the studio where we were meeting up with STARR.

Once we got to the location we immediately went to work. Armando was the cameraman , he and the studio tech began to set up the room. Everything went smooth until we had no audio, but Mike took a television and a DVD player and the audio for the song was set. Ice did what he does, Deliver. Coco andSTARR was doing the getting to know each other thing and from where I was sitting, it looked beautiful. I was so glad to see Coco on set, Ice and Coco are true inspirations.

Well once we finished and began on our own separate ways, for me I don't think that day will leave me for a long time.
