Abilities Expo in Edison, NJ

Every year at the at the New Jersey Convention Center is always a fun and humbling experience. This is event travels to several states, with many of the country's companies, engineers, entertainers and more that developed and create a better quality of life for people and their families living with a different ability that may require certain assistance. I have covered and shared the experience of capturing and sharing the experience with my partner in purpose, Santina STARR Muha.
Everyday someone with a different ability requires a long list of
supplies, products, devices and more to live a life challenging a
normal way. TheAbilities Expos are our Disneyland experience. The expos
bring together many friends made online in forums and social groups
throughout the year, thatfinally get to meet in person. Now that I've explained the technical experience, let's explore my personal view.


I have met and made friends that changed my life. Whenever I come to
the expos, I am made aware of what God has blessed me with, what
purpose I must confess and how my life can make a difference. The
people the have been there since the day of my injury and the others
that became the hands and feet I need to be Professir X. It must of been
a unimaginative experience for someone like Christopher Superman
Reeve to have his life changed and have met thousands of people in his
same situation and has never left their house except for a doctor
visit, hospital stay or a rehabilitation. I'm not as famous and worldly
as Christopher, but I can acknowledge how easy it can be from being
able to unable. Then realizing no matter what situation you're in,
without help, things are even harder. That has made me look at my life
and adopt a place as someone who will try everyday not to complain.


The expo is full of more then just medical and functional products for assistance but entertainment and adapting games for our leisure. This year STARR ripped the runway along with Ian Brown, Madonna Long, Kimberly B, Amy and so many more. They showed off clothing designed for the position we sit in the chairs. Santina did a wonderful job on stage and her beautiful smile always add to the shows she's in. Good news for us is now Santina is Miss Wheelchair NJ. We have so much to do to fulfilling that task. I also saw my friends with Accessible Racing and See and be Safe. Esther, Karen, Brian, Peter of Drive Master and the rest of the team. Anthony and STARR's mom, Mike , Rock O' , Harold of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Resource center, my family and so many more. The expo for the differently
able is one of the best experiences anyone can have. Enjoy pictures
