Biker Gets Hit On England Highway

but I wouldn't ride because motorcycle accidents are the number one source of donated organs. I like my organs just where they are. I'd be glad to donate a piano to someone who needs one, but not my organs. Even if I would be a very safe biker, no matter how hard I try and how much I 'look out for the other guy', I can't stop stupid people from doing stupid things. Nor can I stop otherwise proper, safe people from making mistakes. That's my opinion.

look at the angle that the bike is changing lanes.. he is going almost 45%from the direction of the road.

and people would get hit just as much as people on bikes if they were walking in and out of traffic.. good thing there is something called a side walk.

also i dont care if ppl ride bikes.. but i hate the ones that think the line inbetween lanes is also a lane. i've had my mirrors knocked off by bikers and then they just hit and run. If they are riding like they have a death wish then too bad. They have to know that a car has much more mass than a bike and takes longer to slow down. cars also have blind spots which some bikers seems to forget.

nomatter whom is to blame at the end of the day thats someones life just taken, some ones son,brother,or even worse someones dad, i wouldntlike to be the bearer of bad news would you?

If you watch the bike's trajectory after impact, it would have ben having to have been travelling to the left (changing lanes). It looks lke the van tried to swerve to the right to avoi him. Could have been either one that wasn't paying attention, happens often when an emergency vehicle has its lights on on the side of the road.

some of our anti-American poster friends out there, I'd be treating everyone to the following logic: 1. The female cop has a fat ass, hence, all British women have fat asses. 2. The driver was inattentive and hit the motorcycle, hence, the British don't know how to drive. 3. The biker looked like a fag as he fell from his motorcycle, hence all Brits are fags. I happen to think that none of the above are true, but don't you see how stupid this type of post sounds?

Guys, it was obvious. The casue of the accident was the car that joined the road after being stopped by the police. The car had to join abruptly, which casued the cars in the left lane to slow down. The biker slowed down but the van was slow to react and hit the bike. There is another stopped vehicle on the shoulder which caused the car to join abrubtly. Still, the Police shoulh have not stopped the car in that location.

that biker got hit from behind, I didn't see that clearly but it looked like a mininvan or something, so it was probably some dumb bitch momwho doesn't know the difference between the the stop pedal and the go pedal, feel sorry for that guy, he was just out for an afternoon ride

they were both changing lanes at the same time.. could be no bodys fautl, but the biker's gong to lose everytime. Hey you want to take your life into your own hands then don't blame the world when you get creamed. Shit happens.

did anyone notice how the male copper was in no hurry to help the bike rider who was not fukin changing lanes or speedin but minding his own buisness and riding responsably? the attitude of some police not all but some is fukin awfull he didnt even try to warn on coming traffic TOSSER!

If you look very carefully, at the end of the clip, just to the left of the parked car, you can just see the rider stand up. He received only minor injuries. Very lucky indeed. It was reported the the UK publication MCN (motorcycle news). Im a biker myself, but must admit, its difficult to see who is at fault. The bike was changing lanes at the time of the incident and obviously didnt use his mirrors, but the car looked to be moving at excessive speed so who knows. One thing is for sure, the bikers gear saved him from much more serious injuries!

Jesus I hope he was alright but he didn't seem to be moving after, I shouldn't watch these kind of video's, am far too sensitive.

The minivan was trying to cut corners and merge into the center lane... you can CLEARLY tell the bike was in NO way changing lanes...

Motorcyles are completely safe, it's just fucking motorists that don't pay attention that put our lives in danger.
