Jayne is a native of Coral Gables, Florida. Art became a part of her life at a young age, due to her mother's influence and inspiration. She began her formal education at Miami Dade College in art and design. Unable to fulfill a dream to continue at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, she put aside her studies but continued to paint.
When she relocated to Rainbow Springs, Florida art became her reality. She began her transition from oil to watercolor at Florida Community College, after which she studied for twelve years under noted artist Eloise Gardiner Giles.
For the past several years, she has established herself as a recognized watercolorist in North Central Florida.
"There is no greater reward than to receive recognition for something you have created from a sheet of paper and imagination."
