The original recording you are listening to is of "St. James Infirmary Blues" (Trad. Anon) by Pete Warman recording in Pathway Studio (London) in 1971 and is taken from a rough mix Acetate record, the original 8 track recording has been sadly lost.
Do you know anything about the musician Pete Warman? As far as I know Pete lived and performed in Oxford folk and blues clubs in Oxfordshire in the 1060's and early 1970's. From what I know his family had/have had a colourful history.
As far as I know Pete only had one commercial release on a funding raising 33 rpm EP record for Oxfam with the harmonica player Dave Jeffs.
If you played on this recording please contact me via the channel where you have read this message, thank you.
