Also - if you come back and discover that someone has stolen your laptop without breaking the lock - get a hammer! Smash the lock or otherwise make it look "foiled" and call your dealer.

This guy has done every one a favor, yet he is being accused of doing something wrong. REMEMBER, locks do one thing, they keep honest people honest. If a thief wants something, they will find a way to get it no matter what. Be it your car, laptop, cash, drugs, bike, or whatever.

I think if anyone steal your laptop with this trick you don't get money because your kensington lock isn't broken.
