    Yes indeed this is a great anime. Definitely something that u can expect from studio Ghibli. The artwork is very nice and smooth, beats Hollywood. The story concept is also nice. The only minus point in this anime is probably the flow which is quite slow and it makes some part of this anime quite boring. But yeah, it still worths to watch it

        How dare they... how dare they not mention from where this originated.. I mean how dare they NOT say the author is the remarkable and great Diania Wynne Jones? The story was beautiful... and the director is great.. so this is a must-see for anime lovers and for lovers of the works of DIANA!!?! A great author! I recommend her to all of you!

          Typical of "film critics". They will pan almost anything the general public will like, and usually do. How sad that they can't enjoy something just for the entertainment value, without having to tear apart every little nuance of each film. I guess your "inner child" has left you forever. Such a tragedy!
