Southern California firm Electron Beam Industries has announced a new 5,000 square foot "State of the art" clean room environment in its new Placentia facility. The electron beam and laser welding laboratory includes separate metallurgical and inspection labs, which analysts predict is certain to increase EBI’s reputation as a leader in the Laser and Electron beam welding industry.
The quality and reliability of electron beam welding make it a superior alternative to conventional welding services. Electron beam welds are performed in a vacuum, so they are clean and free from oxidation, making them ideal for joining anything from heart pacemakers to aircraft sensors.
The added flexibility and high precision of EBI’s laser welding capabilities gives them the ability to offer a wide range of precision welding services.
Using either technology, Electron Beam Industries is capable of welding materials as thin as 2 thousandths of an inch and up to half an inch, with minimal distortion, no oxidation, a high depth to width ratio and unlimited repeatability.
EBI’s services have received NADCAP certification, and you can’t get much better credentials than that. So, for the highest quality, precision and reliability, trust your welding needs to Electron Beam Industries.
