Driver Profile: Hugh- Ice Road Truckers Season 3 on 5/31/09

HISTORY presents ICE ROAD TRUCKER SEASON 3 on May 31 at 9pm/8c. Meet IRT driver HUGH ROWLAND, age 48. Known as the POLAR BEAR, Hugh Rowland is the toughest of tough on the ice. In Season One, he ran his crew so hard that drivers working for him quit. Last season, he went to work in Inuvik where few truckers could keep up. Hugh is a trucker who can drive all night and work all day and has lots of opinions about those who fall short of his ethic. This season, oil is booming in Alaska and hes joining Alex to make the big bucks. But even though Hugh seems ready and able to take on any challenge, the Dalton Ice Road is unlike any other and many are speculating even the Polar Bear may be reduce to a little rookie on this road. The question on everyone's mind is: Can the Polar Bear prevail in Alaska? Get ready for an all new ride!
