OK first off a car that sounds like that, Its motor sound not adder, Im sure there is an adder on it, but ITS BAD anyway you look at it, if you dont know the sound then you dont know cars, Im figuring 1k to 1200 hp and a 200 MPH car, oh and yes its a VETTE!! rice heads eat your heart out!!

That motor is WILD. And, it's EASILY 1000 hp all day long. THAT is a badass car, and if you hear that crackling sound of a HUGE cam, expect a real challenge when the light turns green.

Airplane engines are designed to maintain low RPM. The cylinders are much larger, and cycle less frequently. Automobile engines are designed to be able to change RPMs more frequently.

That Vette sounds awesome. It’s called a camshaft, with a lot of lift and duration. The fact that it idles at all below 1200rpms proves it is tuned very well. If you don't have any LS1/LS2/LS7 engine knowledge please don't post about how it should or should not sound or run.
Also, remember to turn off the neon lights under your Honda or the battery will die.

Hey ricers, its called lope. The exhaust note sounds like that 'cause the exhaust valve is open for a small amount of time near the end of the combustion stroke. I swear some of you wouldn't know what a piston was if it hit you in the face.

This car is a naturally aspirated car. Its a 434 Stroker done by HPE. It made 576rwhp. No turbo. No nitrous. No Supercharger. Lots of cam, lots of displacement.

Well apparently no one here knows their ass from their elbow when it comes to mechanics. The little puff of smoke u think is comin from the exhaust isnt. Its from the bands they use on the dyno machine over spinning. and the sound isnt exaggeratted...thats a small block chevy with a VERY radical cam, uncapped for higher top end power....please do some research before u open ur mouths

Its called valve-overlap. It creates suction with the exhaust stroke to it can draw in more air through the intake valve while its slightly open at high rpms. It is commonly used in race cars, not street cars because it is terrible at low rpms.

That my friends is pure Bowtie power... the very rough idle is purely an awesome customized cam, heads and high compression. I doubt it's blown because it isn't "surging" which is typical of a blown engine. Reminds me of my 71' Chevelle SS, but not nearly as wicked.

guyz this corvette dosnt hava normal engine which is in other corvettes.. this engine is called DRAG engine.. for drag racing.. its much much more powerful n has much much lowder sound.. blowz off the ears ..damn.. i hate this sound.. in uae local guyz r used to it,, cuz they hav is in there cars.. which are heavily moded..

but, it definitly needs ECU work or whatever the vette is using for a computer, that idle is terrible. I've "heard" the c5r's idled at about 2500rpm, that sounded closer to 800-1200rpm. Also posting with out the dyno figures is a sin!

The Vette sounds good but it probably isn’t the standard engine it’s probably a bespoke engine with a massive amount of tuning work. My friends Ferrari 355 sounds better (with a Tubbi exhaust) and that’s a standard Ferrari.
