The unemployment rate in West Hartford is lower than the state of Connecticut and the nation, but that doesn't comfort those in West Hartford still looking for work.
Residents had the opportunity to brush up their job seeking skills outside the Faxon Library today with staff from the Connecticut Department of Labor on board the Career Express Bus.
Staff on the bus help job seekers with their resumes, explore new career opportunities, and provide career counseling.
The bus has Internet access along with eight computer workstations available to those looking for job opportunities. It is also fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
