I am not a huge fan of Tom Cruise but gimme a break! That was not Tom Cruise losing his cool! Bad title! He handled that with grace and dignity! That "reporter" should have been escorted out by Security and charged! What if that had been a caustic substance! Mr. Cruise didn't do anything to provoke that! That type of behavior can have serious reprocussions. Try that on a gangster rapper and the dumbass could have been shot instead of reprimanded!

If Tom Cruise is going to do something like that he shouldn't be let out into public, honestly, if your going to get that upset about a little bit of water, you need some kind of anger management, and the rest of you thinking Tom did the right thing, your all idiots, even if you don't think that was funny, look and realize how Tom flew off the handle there, honestly, if your going to take his side, your as bad as he is. I like the way he faced the whole thing. They earn lots of money, yeah, they are in the spotlight, yeah, but do they deserve this childlish stupidities? ...but this was the first time I saw it. I was under the impression that he reacted angrily but I thought he handled the situation really well. He ended up putting the "jerk" on the defensive.

I am not Tom's fan too, but after watching it, I have to admit that Tom is such a gentleman. Not to mention he didnt lose his cool, instead he try to ask the man for his intention and also try to do his best to handle such situation without any other people's help. What a gentleman he is. He just stood an example for all the hollywood celebrities to learn from. He is a smart guy. Keep it up.

I was surprised that he didn't hit the S**t out of him, he was so calm. If people handled sistuations like that we would be living in a better world.

Even though Tom has millions of dollars, he still is a human being and he is in the public eye constantly and has different pressures than people who are not in the public eye. This particular instance was caught on tape, but think of how many psychos (jealous and/or obsessed) he deals with on a regular basis. We as human beings need to empathize with each other. I laugh at plenty of things on tv, but I don't like prank tv shows because I think they humiliate people. I especially don't think that breaking someone's barrier of personal space (such as what the "journalist" did with the water) is at all amusing or good sport, it is simply unacceptable! People who are willing to do something like that just to make a buck or make a name for themselves need to reevaluate themselves to see if they're really making the world a better place for all of us to live in.

i totally think he overreacted... the jerk shouldn't have squirted the water but hey, i've seen ppl with soo much more tension and worries and they handle things much greater than a squirt of water... try 3 little boys terrorizing you AND covering you in water at the same time? This time it was only water. Next time it could be bleach or an acid. With all the celebrity staulkers and weirdos out there, Tom was very lucky it was only water. Celebrities are always willing to greet and talk with their fans and this kind of prank only makes it more difficult for celebrities to feel safe to continue doing this. I think Tom Cruise was definately justified with his anger and the professional response he showed this inconsiderate guy.

There needs to be a system where only people with certain college degrees are allowed to post on these things. Otherwise, people will not be aware of the political implications of their comments. It really wasn't very funny, and, much as I would not expect to say it, Cruise handled it very well and made the prankster seem stupid. Although I winced at the 'You should be ashamed of yourself' part.

I'm a big fan of pranks like that but I think it went poorly for the pranker. This joke had good potential but kinda crashed. As for Tom ah big deal he makes millions and is "marrying" Katie Holmes so its a little hard for me to feel bad for him for this little event.

Losing his cool was not the alpha nor omega result of this confrontation. Tom handles this situation with the better grace and character than most self considered world leaders!?!
