    As part of our class' media studies coursework for GCSE English we had to study this advert and talk about how it shocks the reader etc. I honestly think that in all the adverts I've seen against drunk driving, this has hit me the hardest because it shows a different side to a story which usually revolves around the driver. This story, however, focuses on a family who is changed forever by the sudden death of its youngest member... by someone who was barely dunk. Makes me think of how easy it is to die. I suppose it's probably easier to die than to be born... :s

    i had a friend who lost her 3 yr. daughter in something
    almost like this. the little girl was sitting in the swing when 2 drunk teenagers taking a joyride drinking
    and driving. they came around the corner to fast lost control and jump the fence ,well you know the rest. her mother was sitting right there on the porch just a inch or 2 away ..... she has never been the same since. the teens got 2 yrs. if you ask me i think people who drink should be lined up and shotor use some kind of medevil torcher on them, to make them suffer like the families they destory.....

    at first i thought the little boy was growing up to be that man drinking, but when i heard the boy scream and realize it was happening at the same time, i couldn't believe it. this is why i would never drive, my moms an alcoholic and drives. come to think of it, i havn't been in a veihical with her since i was 12, i almost lost her and my life.

    This is not a joke and I'm tired of picking up the pieces of a broken family due to plan stupidity.If your going to drink,stay where you are or call for a ride. I'd rather be the one to take you home then to tell somebody one of their family members had just been killed by a drunk driver . Jail is a good place to be when your in my county drinking and driving. I NEVER have a problem putting anybody behind those bars. We do regular DUI Checklanes and I'm proud of it. This come from not only a Cop but from a Mother 3 Sons and Grandmother of 3.

I'm glad to see that you know that drinking and doing anything while impared is dangerous, however, your views right now about alcohol are wayyyy off. Just because your friends do it, and because it tastes good does not make it right for someone your age to be doing. And yes, people do care about those who abuse alcohol, especially when it is a child, be it theirs or someone elses. I care! I dont know you, but I worry for you. I wish that you could see that your choices are going to lead you down a very destructive path for the rest of your life. Trust me, I grew up in a alcohol and drug abused home. (I was lucky not to end up like them) You say you never do stupid stuff when you drink. Well, I dont say this to be mean, but when you drink, you are being "stupid."
