I lived and worked in the UK, Londen and surrounding areas for a year, it has the most pathetic law enforcement in the world. they dish out parking tickets for no reason. I really pity the guys living in the uk. Cameras everywhere, insane road rules. Really S**t Cant do anything. And the coppers really take their pathetic little jobs so seriously, even for the tiniest little issue.

These posts are in Manchester and are used to stop unautherised traffic from entering pedestrian areas. It's quite clearly signposted on the approach about access and even has red lights either side to warn you. Also the road surface changes from tarmac to block paving so your under no illusion that you are entering a pedstrian area. The funny thing is that there is usually an intercomm system next to these things, so if you needed access you could talk to a controller.

you dont need to speed through the poles...
you juz need to drive very very close to the bus....the sensors will not been able to detect a small gap between cars... the sensor will thought "wow, what a long bus".....

it works.... in here (Malaysia) Companies gives lorry drivers highway fee for transportation. Lorries use this kind of method to fool those sensors.... so that instead paying 2 lorries for the highway.. they only need to pay 1........ the other that didnt pay will share the money with the the other lorry...... This Is Illigal, of course....juz not ling before, highway companies noticed it and fine those Companies that cheated them for few hundred K Malaysia Ringgit...

Had a second look after reading the comments about what those stumps really are. You can clearly see the drivers SPEEDING UP when they see the stumps are still down. They are just trying to be cheeky smarasses. Fully deserve it. Feel sorry for the people around them though.

in most english citys there are these things so bus routes and taxis can drive and pick up people . the rest of joe public must park out side town and catch the bus there for generating mor in come for the city council (park house , bus ,taxi firms, and horse and cart )must all pay that bit more to operate in side this area
