This video was made at Kabul International Airport, during mission Eastern Eagle, Afghanistan (2005).
This F-16 cowboy takes off at an extremely dangerous low altitude with a deadly high speed (above 150 Mph ,or 240 Km/h)!
...or is he just avoiding a radar?

    My father been to iraq is a tactical take off they do the same with the landing, not for the radar but for the hand missile

  • about the stalling at 150mph

    A F-16 will not stall at 150 mph. A jet runs sitting still so I don't know where you get this stalling at. The only way that motor will stall is if it goes way to high or catches another jets blast wind. Though you are correct about the other things you stated I just want to clear that up. The jet does have to land which it would not be doing over 150 mph on touch down.

  • Speed

    the F-16 cannot fly at under 200 knots (230mph or 400kph) or it will stall!!!
    It does mach 2.5 easily and cruises at .8 mach which is over 500mph. It would be dangerous to fly at 150mph as it would stall and he would die!!!

    Most sports cars are faster than that,
    aaand the low level take off is there to foul up watchers, lerchers and missiles
    plus you can get more speed, straight and level than when your climbing
    but when you got the speed it straight up
