    They really just don't build them like they used to !
    G.M. now has also been infected with the 'Cheaper is Better' philosophy I'm afraid. Yeah, now just about everyone is building cars like the Japanese, cheap, high turn over, more junk means more new sales -fewer resales, turn quality into obsolescents. And engineer them to get just as low of a gas mileage as will be tolerated by the consumer. And yes this commercial too is fake, and would appear to defy the laws of physics in a cartoonish way, in addition to common sense.
