Chevrolet Presents THE CORVAIR IN ACTION! (1960)

in 1960 a car that was 18 feet long and 7 feet wide was considered a "compact", and you can take it on safari.

We should have just kept building A bombs at the end of WWII and just killed everyone else. Then we wouldn't have had to buy their small cheap ass cars or deal with any of the crap and we all could be driving awesome REAL cars. I'm building my time machine and running for president on 1944. Or VP, since FDR will croak before the end of WWII.

Still to this day no other country can produce a car of the stature, power, comfort and affordabiltiy as the USA can. The Japs and Germans didn't make good cars till they stared makng them here. They should just crank these kinds of cars again, just add fuel injection and they would get over 20mpg and everyone could afford a REAL car again.

This car was really considered high tech and revolutionary.

And guess what?

You could fix it yourself in your own garage without owning 100K worth of tools.
