Based on Spirits of the ice forest – Walking with dinosaurs (5th episode).

Life faces extremes in this austral fern forests´, kept warm by ocean currents and strong monsoon winds came from north. Five months of darkness winter, with hazards temperatures.

But life is resilient…

The place were they took the images is amazing (the episode was entirely filmed in New Zealand)!
