Zoomed out pictures at google earth are the old sattelite photos,meaning when google first introduced google earth. Zoomed in pictures over dubai for example are the latest sattelite pictures which were taken probably 2005. Basically you can see before and after photos over palm islands etc.. by zoomin' in n out . Gap between pictures is 3 to 4 years. Amazing difference. CHECK IT OUT !!. Luv u Dubai>PEACE
