But I'll never forgive myself for killing that dog that attacked me. Yeah I probably saved my own life, but I think I'd go back and do things differently. My first instinct was Its me or him, in a split of an eye it jumped on me and bit me savegly in the arm and I fell back...I was trying to choke it and not get myself bitten, but I found this rock and I smashed it on its forehead. It probably was one of the hardest decision of my life, so I think the policeman did a good thing in not shooting it, even though he had all the right to do so ..but then again he kicked the dog away .. I didnt have that opportunity to ..it was soo fast.

Dogs have a hard wired desire to please their owners, this dog has not been raised correctly. it is a reflection of it's owner and manner in which the dog has been raised, why are people always placing the blame on the dog, consider what has conspired before the cops get there and why this dog has attacked them, is it's owner(the one person they always want to please) a cop hater?

Dogs’ response time is really super fast like speed of sound. When you click the play/pause button intermittently, you’ll notice that the dog began its leap towards the officer’s throat or head portion.
With the officer’s instant counteraction, he quickly gave it a right flat kick to the dog’s bottom chest hence the dog didn’t sustain great pain unless the officer kicked it’s chest right before it began to jump up, this way that dog would feel more painful and might reconsider attacking. I did kick a female ordinary mix dog, which I think she was having heat or something else because before it turned to me, it almost bit a passerby Indian before I passed that crazy dog. Luckily it was smaller and my kick was coincidentally powerfully effective. I felt my foot with some saliva. I guessed I hit her under jaw coz she shrieked for a short while. Then saw her tail dropped as she ran away.

in africa they do that with lions, so a dog in america should be cake for him

I saw a dog sit on a open electrical outlet once, that dog got such a shock he took off and just kept running around the factory for about 10min yelping and looing behind him as if someone was chasing him, was the funniest thing I ever seen. Also a Rottie.

These Gents acted as Heads-Up Cops. It just happened to be an errant dog that day. Another, day? Some rabid vermin, of the bipedal variety? I expect my officers to return home after their shifts. Err on the side of sitting down in front of your Keiki (Children, in Hawaiian) across the dinner table. Your loving and faithful Family will support you. Stephen.

Far better the second officer to "Tazer" the dog... a tazer delivers an electric shock that generally paralyzes -- and yes, causes pain...but isn't lethal. If the first officer had shot the dog, the dog would have been in much MORE pain, or dead.

just stupid ass people who don't know how to properly manage a dog or are too lazy to give it what it needs. the owner should be shot first for letting it get to that point of attacking its perimeter.

Now I know why I like cats so much. When is the last time you heard of a cat attack ? Dogs are great but you cannot trust them around children (especially your own) and looking at this adults (even though they are policemen) are not safe either. He had every right seeing he was attacked in a public place to shoot the mongrel, how will he feel if in a weeks time this dog (or bitch) attacks a young child. Most dog attacks occur on children of the owners.
