    The composition of those small 'banger' items is a very strong armstrong mix (the chlorate version). Armstrong mix is very friction/shock sensitive - hence its used in those little banger-pistols.

    If one of the contents of the cap you had there (with the liquid armstrong mix) blew off in your hand you'd loose it. Just go with piccolo-pete bombs please... theyre alot less dangerous.

    you can use match tips two....i used it o diferent firecrackers made from a plastic bag, two screws and a nit...u throw it up in the air and the plastic bag makes it fall qith the tip foreward..and bang!!!
