Historical place Old Delhi (Purani Dilli) attractions!

RedFort(LalQila): In 11th century Raja Anangpal built this fort, and later it was reconstructed by Shahjahan in 1638 to 1648. Important and attractive changes were carried out by later Mughal Emperors, British and Indian Government and still continue.
Jama Masjid: In 1656 country's largest mosque built by Shahjahan where the courtyard capable of holding about twenty five thousand worshippers.
OldFort(PuranaQila): In 1533 Humayun built this with the name of Dinapanah, later destroyed by his rival ShershahSuri. Since Mahabharat time this area known as Indraprastha founded by Panchpandavs. Coincidence- Pandavs/Humayun lost their kingdom, excelled and regained after approximately fifteen years. SherMandal built by ShershahSuri, later Humayun used this as his library, but in 1556 he slipped and fell down the stairs and died after three days due to head injuries. Qila-i-Kuna Mosque built by ShershahSuri in 1541.
