Pillu is fruit of Jaal...In days begone it was favourite fruit of people of all ages....Such was the popularity of this small fruit amnogst Seraikis that it became part of folk music. When fruit was ripe , people of the villages use to gather around the Jaal trees and eat the most cherished pilus. With the passage of time people have forgotten the taste of Pillus. Some time back a Seraiki Derawal from Delhi send me a cd which consists of some 1o beautiful songs. This song was in that CD , although this song has been sung by many folk musicians , but Delhi's Seraikis have given it a new touch.
