I'm not sure there has been any war that started throughout history for a religious reason. Did the crusades start because of religion ? I doubt it very much. They took some land, they got hated for it, and the hate of all the countries around is not 100% religious either. Maybe 10% ?!

I underline once more, because i don't want to be misunderstood : it's not the initial reason, it develops into a reason for the poor : a vast majority of terrorists believe it's the right thing to do because they have the religious right. But were the attacks of 9/11 religiously motivated ? Again, I doubt it.
