it's easy and tasty!!!
The sauce looked great and I'm sure it tasted good. I'd recommend however that you (1) peel the tomatoes first. Tomato skins in sauce tend to taste bitter. Just drop them in boiling water for a few seconds and the skins peel right off, (2) A good red wine added to the sauce always works well, (3) tomato paste (just one tiny can) will improve the flavor tremendously, and (4) I would use Italian sausage rather than salami, but that's your choice.
Like she said in the video, cook it for a long time so that the flavors meld. Don't turn the heat on high, just enough for a good simmer, because there is nothing worse than burnt tomato sauce.
Finally, make sure you have good pasta and good bread as well, and finish off the rest of the wine with your meal!
