  • Are you people sane???

This is obviously a group of people that are into history and weapons. Look at the weapons that they are using. ALMOST all of them are military, both active and retired systems. They are all more responsible than most of the people and their adds on this page. (except for the overly excited girl that's jumping all over the place) Growing up in a "country boy" lifestyle, I can say that most of the parents in this video will be the first to put a good "ass-whoopin'" on these kids for even hinting that they will do anything un-safe with a weapon. It's the "I could never lay a hand on my child" parents that are f**king up the world because the kids don't have respect for anything. I'm 28 years old and I still fear doing something wrong and my Dad finding out. That's respect, not abuse. Yes, you guessed it. I'm republican, white, male, from Texas and... that's right... I'm DAMN proud of our boys in green and I'm damn proud to be an American!!!

    • I have to agree

I am eighteen, and have grown up around these sort of weapons. I shot my first gun when I was four and my first auto when I was eight. Hell, my deer rifle still has the Bayonet on it. There is no way though that I could use my firearms on another person except in a case of self preservation. I was taught that guns don't kill people, people kill People. If I even joked about harming someone with a gun, I got the belt. I am very glad I did. When I have a kid, he will get the same treatment, because I want him or her to have the same respect for me that I do my dad. I will also raise it around the firearms because they are a fundemental part of our rights. I am a constitutionalist party member and believe strongly in my right to own and bare arms. I am a Texas implant from Idaho. I come from a long line of Soldiers and would proudly go to war to defend my country.

    • I would have to agree

Some also looked like foreign weapons too. Although firing a fully automatic weapon is a rush, I never had the oportunity to jusmp around and holler like that one girl did (my DI would have had his boots up my arse), but I tell you what, that "trip" sure made my gut go ........ whoa doggy..... course the live gernades are much beetr for that though.

  • School Shootings? I think not...

Why you ask? because they know what a bullet does...
Also you see how careful the parents are? My biggest pet peeve is that people say, "Oh look that kid'll shoot someone some day."
Honestly if you ask me the problem isn't the kid... or games... (unless the kid playing cannot tell the difference but that also leads up to my next point)
My belief is it's a collection of things the kids... the environment.. and the one most people want to ignore, the parents...
Parents play a HUGE role in kids lives... sex ed is one thing that really needs to be talked over with right? why not talk about guns? why not ask them how their day was? Questions and honestly listening would save so many lives. It is hard to talk to teens i agree I was one not 5 years ago... but you need to just keep trying and caring.

    • School shootings

If ya want to know why all them kids did the shootings it's the ADD drugs that they were on. Every single case of a shooting when looked into the kids were on em and their dosage was recently changed or they changed types. They are known to cause psychotic episodes in some people. Kids are supposed to be active if their parents weer not so afraid to punish their kids and make them behave there would be no problem with them runnin wild and then be given drugs cause they dont know how to behave. We never had any of these problems till the government decided they would tell us how to raise our kids. Get the government out of schools and out of raising our children and we will no longer have that crap

  • I AGREE!

SHELDON,I agree with you totally. i am also from texas, and grew up the same way.A If you dont teach kids how to use the weapons properly at a young age, they get the idea from watching tv that it is ok to use them irresponsibly. I am also a white, male republican, and i jumped on the first train i could to Iraq to help support our troops. God Bless the USA!!

  • amusing

i was finaly able to read the coments made here 117 so far :=) i must say that its more interesting to read how people here react to the coments made , then how people feel about kids who are tought to use guns , alot of you say "blody americans" , or "typical americans" ETC , well it is typical i guess , but i am sure that if we were allowed to have gun ranges with guns like the one showed in the clip here in Denmark many wuld join :=) i think the same is true for many other nations with more resticted gun law's then in U.S.A

Have a safe day, and leave your gun at the shooting range

  • To the liberal, knuckle-dragging, freedo...

Molon Labe, it's a Greek term. I live by it every day.

When Xerxes, King of Persia, told Leonidus, General of the Spartans at Thermopile, to give up his weapons, Leonidus responded with "Molon Labe"....Come take them!!!!
    That should answer any questions.

By 1131998125 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • True but,

yes Leonidus did say that and yes, they did take their weapons in the end. how does this in any way explain people encouraging children to use automatic weapons? please understand that the spartans were also war crazed race of inbred tyrants who enslaved a whole race of people. However i think your motto is not bad and i like your interest in classics. PS i'm not anti american, but some of the comments here treat foreigners as if they were inferior to americans, and thats not true or fair.

  • Go to France you whiners

You non-Americans are just whiners.. because you can't own a pistol or a rifle legally, much less a machine gun.

I've been shooting since I was 10 yrs old and my children have been shooting from since about the same age. They have a healthy respect for guns, and I have never had any problems with them trying to play with them outside of range time or making any threats.

If you want to whine, go to France. You'll be speaking German within a few years (again). :P

  • Mindless entertainment

This is just mindless entertainment and has nothing to do with sports or selfdefence. Those comments where people state that it's just teaching your children how to defend themselves make me lauch. So you realy want your kid to pull the trigger and take somebodies life?

Buy your kid a pelletgun for his 12th birthday, buy him a proffesional one for his 14th birthday. On his 16th birtday buy him a small caliber bolt-action rifle and let him use it in a supervised range. But don't buy them an automatic, because this has nothing to do with controlled markmanship or sports. Even better don't buy your kid anything lethal before they are 16,. There's a reason they aren't allowed to drive cars before that age. Ever wondered why that is...?

Oh and if you find spellingerrors in my post. Keep in mind that english is the 4th language I speak. So unless you can top that keep your comments to yourself.

    • Service Rifle

I have the service rifle my great grandfather used in the battle of Guadalcanal. I also have his pistol from when he came home and served for forty two years as a police officer. Why should we ban the very thing that allowed our forefathers the ability to create and defend our country. If a man never takes a shot before he is called away to war, what kind of accuracy, or even general knowledge is he going to have. By maintaining guns, we allow ourselves the privilege of being able to defend our homes and loved ones that is deprived of the people of so many other countries.

Americans have been teaching their children the use of firearms since the beginnings of this nation. In fact, crimes like school shootings only showed up along with gun control and complaining about teaching kids to shoot.

So it would appear that it is in fact the gun banners and their supporters who are the cause of the problem.

U say u have everything in this video. If u dont like war,i wonder wat kind of threat u face at home, and u need those kind of powerful weapons for. Do u really need a machine gun at home?I guess u only need it if everyone around u has one.Its a whole mindset, thats all.
It goes to explain why u have so many stories coming out of the occupying U.S. forces, how they dont waste a minute to pull the trigger and can be apathetic abt it at times.

  • u.k.guns and kids

Well, I admit I sometimes post comments that are designed to annoy rednecks, but not this time.
As a young teenager in England, I joined my school's army cadet force. Some kids laughed at us because we had to wear a uniform, and learn drill on the 'parade ground'. They thought that was funny.... But whilst they were kicking a ball around at dinner time, we were on the smallbore rifle range in the school basement. At 14 I could strip and reassemble a bren-gun in the dark. I learned how to fuse a hand grenade, how to set trip flares and booby traps. I learned how to use military radios, with correct radio procedure. I went, at weekends and holidays to military ranges, fired heavy machine guns, anti tank rockets, fired current army issue rifles and sidearms.
All this time, I was taught safe handling, checking, safeing, clearing, and cleaning of weapons. Never to point a weapon at someone I did not intend to kill.
I rode on tanks took part in war games and learned to fly a glider. We learned basic medic skills too, and were shown horrific pictures of battlefield wounds, we knew what those guns could do.
In the event of our country being invaded, my school could produce close on 200 teenagers who could work in teams or alone under military discipline, We could actively assist in our country's defence.
To my knowledge, none of us went on to be gun crazy killers. Some joined the armed forces, and they might have become gun crazy killers I suppose...
Many countries have a defence policy of trained armed civilians, forming a ready made guerilla army that can harass an invader, and make a country very difficult to hold.
That training was great fun, we loved crawling through swamps, clutching weapons loaded with blank firing ammunition. We really believed the invasion might happen, and we would be ready.
These people you see in the video, they don't look like the folks who will hold up the local bank, or hijack your car, After you take the guns away from them, those things will still be happening.
Even if you make gun ownership illegal, the criminals will still have guns. You won't be any safer.

  • Canadian thoughts

Up here in canada we have gun controll. depending on who wins the next election we may not have hand guns at all. Thats great now ot of our 300 - 400 killings a year with a gun how many of those guns are legaly owned? maybe 1 %. Every guy thats intent on murder will stop and think to himself I can't do this guns are illegal. I do pity the country that tries to invade the USA an armed population is the best defence. Up here were screwed. Do I own gun? No. I don't personaly have a use for one. I do know how to use one from cadet training, and my children will learn how to use them from a profesioal as well. knowledge is the best defence against anything. AK 47's are not permited up here but we lost 4 RCMP officers to some nut with one. Bet it was not registered or purchased legaly.

  • Shooting is a sport.

Look at these people, see how responsible they are? Shooting is a social gathering, i should know, i am a shooter in the UK. Guns are only dangerous in the wrong hands, but it seems a lot of people just think guns are evil in themselves. Hell, Rugby or American Football is a more dangerous sport. I totally agree with Sheldonhacker on this, bar being American. I cant stand people criticising shooting itself, its only stupid f***tards who shoot other people or mis-use them. Pffft....

  • Warped

Some of u seem to have very warped views of the world, especially u Lou. Firstly, my country; GB, willingly supported the Wars in Afganistan and Iraq, staying there despite political unrest and the fact that more GB servicemen were killed by Americans than the enemy and that we were bombed for the pleasure. In addition, thanks so much for entering WW2 two years late after ur shipping and pacific fleet had been attacked and the invasion threat on Britain had all but vanished. Finally, why on earth would u want to invade Africa, u do realise thats a continent, not a country dont u? i hope and pray that u (Lou) represent a minority in the US, because urviews are more extreme than many 'towel heads'.

..when we finally have the final war on our American soil, at least these children will know how to fight back. They won't be hiding in their basements like John Kerry and Michael Moore. Anyone who is offended by children learning proper gun safety and how to use them needs to leave MY country. When all these F**king terrorist immigrants infiltrate our country and bring the war to our doorsteps, you will wish you had been a republican and a pro-gun/pro-NRA supporter. You will be begging these children to protect you. My children will know how to use guns before they know how to drive, I promise you that. And if you get in their way while they are trying to protect themselves and their country, I hope you go down with the satans' spawn they are accurately killing due to excellent training at a young age.
