This is the 2nd vid today where a minority guy attacks a police officer. I live in NY. The unsafe neighborhood are where the blacks and hisanics are. In my high school, blacks and hispanic always caused trouble with the teachers. This isn't a racist comment, it's an empirical observation. The two fights I saw in the subway were between blacks and hispanic.

My point is, minorities always complain they don't have equal rights and don't have what they deserve. The only reason I am not racist is because I know some of the few that give a good name to their fucked up counterpart. Just like Chris Rock said, black people are good, but N****rs are hateful.

cops are given wide discretion in how they approach vehicles. They also should be able to expect a certain amount of respect from any citizen. This guy exited the car and immediately attacked an officer of the law who did NOTHING wrong.

I'm tired of idiots trying to blame an officer for how he SHOULD have done his job. 99.9% of these idiots have never been in the military or a police force or any type of situation like this. They decide to comment on every issue that they have no knowledge of though.

I urge any citizen who thinks cops or the military are abusive of their 'privileges' to go become a cop or soldier. Just do it for the minimum enlistment (soldier) or for a year or two (cop). Then see how you feel.

Everyone is forgetting one obvious thing. That cop approached the man to try and steal money from him. That's what giving a traffic ticket is, it's extortion and that's stealing. Now if the cop were actually assisting someone else that would be a different matter. However in this situation this cop was doing nothing but interfering in someone elses life. im going to college right now, and i have been on countless ride alongs with actual cops, and the cops are very nice and respectful, the only time you get attitude from them is when they recieve it from you. the cop is just doing there job, when you come off to a cop like a complete asshole right away the cop has a F**king right to be an ass to you back. why should we have to be nice and put up with the world treating us like S**t , were just doing our job.

It seems like the problem started in the beginning. When someone starts hitting you, you need to hit back with authority, not dink around and try to get your gun out at that point. To use a gun you need to take it out, aim, and fire. Not possible to do that with someone hitting you in the face like crazy. Would've been a different story if cop aproached with his gun drawn and aimed, but at that close of range you need to fight back. Any cops want to comment on this. I'm assuming your trained for close range combat where a gun isn't going to help you much.

After reading all the comments defending the police and the supposed hard job they do, lets get some things straight about just who these people are.

1. They have no legal obligation to protect any of us, their job is to deal with us after crimes are committed. There is a supreme court case that pretty much lays this out for all to understand.

2. Their interactions with the public come under the guise of stealing money from us for supposed fake crimes, ie. traffic and taxing issues, for the state.

3. In most instances, you will deal with them via traffic stops, in these, they have no evidence of a complaint, and no evidence of any damages to either them, or who they represent, the state.

Until people start really learning who these people really are, I am not crying tears over incidents like this. The white people ripping on the black and hispanic ones for the crime issues in their community, shut up, most of what happens to these people are the police asserting power because they can, scewing with people over bs drivers license technicalities and arresting people for ingesting substances that are only illegal cause someone else says so. Police don't want to deal with real crime. The system is set up that way. Realize most law is just opinions backed by a gun, nothing more.

I have no issue with someone who causes someone else harm, then let the police step in and deal with it, but most police interaction is not crime fighting, but enforcing laws against people because they can, not because anyone got hurt in the deal.

Yes its a tough job, but stealing from people under color of law always is, whats amazing is how most of you put up with this.

P.S. Thank you to the Police. I know you try, but in another sense, why bother? Society ties one hand behind your back constantly with it's P.C. bullcrap. If I make a mistake on my job, I get fired.
