By useruser 1164056336 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeso all the calm ones could live in peace
By Marcus Apox 1163708416 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removebut i hope this was made by someone doing research... or not in the US...as it is a violation of federal law(migratory bird act) to capture a wild bird in the US..with the exception of english starling and one other i believe is the canadian goose...
By trail 1163524119 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe Migratory Bird Act prohibits the take, possession, import, export, transport, selling, purchase, barter, or offering for sale, purchase or barter, any migratory bird, their eggs, parts, and nests, except as authorized under a valid permit...but that is not a migratory bird (doesn't migrate).
By JimLahey 1164935985 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhy does it matter? There are so many stupid laws in this country right now. Someone fill me in with more of these laws so I can spend the weekend breaking them all.
By someguy joe 1163617106 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removereally care whether you catch a bird or not...i'm pretty sure they don't... unless it happens to be a state bird and or an eagle
By Meak13 1163567672 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removesomething like the eastern box turtle ...which i used to see frequently on bike rides... having to stop 3 or 4 times a night on a 6 mile ride to remove them from the trail (not me,btw)...i have seen NONE in 5 years... because? ...people think theyre cute and take one home ...guess what... theyre only cute for awhile and then either tossed or released after becoming imprinted on humans and regular feeding habits or dead from improper care/diet... as far as decline goes for songbirds ...if cat owners would stop letting their domestic house cats outside ...which have a propensity for bringing "prizes" in to their owners.. there would be more birds surviving ...thanks though for some interest ...
By trail 1163596632 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethat people that have cats are the reason that all the birds are dead or dying? I happen to own a few cats, and I happen so see 100s of birds everyday, and non of them are dead on my front porch.
By someguy joe 1163617251 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeevery country has it's rednecks, that violate any exsisting law just for fun!
By giggler 1163641903 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeur sick!!! leave those birds alone!!!
By nadzzz 1163509647 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhy did everybody automatically get emotional about that? Ever saw those survivor shows? That would be an awesome lucky thing if you were trying to survive in the wild. It's hard to catch birds (But not with that trap).

By jessica101 1164338853 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is actually one of the ways that scientist catch wild birds for e.g. banding. An other, more common way is to use mist nets, but it is not as much action in them.
