It's 2010 and the government has erected concrete barriers around the hard-to-handle suburbs near Paris. As a public service, local lad Leito is busy destroying 20 kilos of heroin in the bathtub of his tower-block apartment when reps of local kingpin Taha come looking for him. Leito escapes, however in retaliation, Taha sends his baddies to kidnap Leito's sister, Lola. Soon, Lola is strung out on heroin and Leito finds himself doing sit-ups in prison. Meanwhile, undercover cop Damien captures a Latino crime boss and shuts down his illicit casino, against very stacked odds. As a reward, Damien is assigned to penetrate notorious Suburb 13 and stop the countdown on a deadly bomb that was hijacked by Taha.

I dont think its either Parkour or free running. Because people jump when it is impossible for them to even have seen where they are going.
Now admittedly this is astupid thing for me to say lol obviously its a movie. But to make it real it has at least to be possible. I can go for the fantasy but not jumping down 20 feet when u dont even know what is down there.

This was like an even more violent version of the chase in Ong Bak! Of course, like that film, it fails to offer any explanation as to how the badguys are at all capable of keeping up with the diminutive ninjas they're ill advisedly chasing... and also why those martial artists don't just attack the hunters rather than flee from them. if you right click on the movie while it's paused, and go to proporties, a little window pops up. on the very bottom there is a URL under "location" coppy and paste it into your adress on internet explorer, and it should take the file strait to windows media player, or flash, or whatever current media player you have

Free-Running is a term created by Sebastien Foucan, that's what he does, it's only partially Parkour. Sebastien learned Parkour FROM David Belle, just like the Yamakasi, he's not a "co-founder," just takes the credit for it.
Also, Parkour is about just what you saw in the video, getting from point A to B in the fastest and most efficient way possible. It is a discipline, not a game, therefore it does not consist of flips or any other unneccesary movements. David Belle has been doing Parkour for 18 years, not 10. If your serious about Parkour, then you are too young to learn, I'd say don't start untill 13-14 as your muscles won't fully devolop untill 18 years.
