creation of the univers
but if the universe was made from "nothingness" what the F**k exploded in the first place?
By W666DSY 1163339644 Reply Spam [+5] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveExploded? What exploded? A single point of nothing?
I better watchout. You don't know when e piece o nothing that's right in front of you will originate a universe.
Rather dumb theory
Whatch out for "nothingless" points in the space!!!
By pizdalu 1164663090 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeuniverse originated suddenly from a gigantic explosion from a single point?!?!? That's the best they got? The is more magic and fantasy then asking me to believe in unicorns or leprechauns... So from NOTHING came EVERYTHING?!? Can someone please show me that equation?
By dalex 1163450331 Reply Spam [+3] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeexplain creationism's explanation then... some all-powerful invisible dude wished the universe into existence.... ill stick with the big bang theory anyday, with more and more information being discovered about how we actually came into existance... its only a matter of time before we will know exactly what happened.
By Stinkyfingers 1163543381 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI don't HAVE to explain everything! Faith fills in the gaps! Your ilk however believes to every question there is a mathmatically proveable answer... That is NOT true, and your god(Stephen Hawking) can spend the rest of his tortured life looking for the answer that will elude us til death... Oh, and I agree completely with your last statement!!!!
By dalex 1163543866 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removea F**king idiot. With your condescending ( Stephen Hawking ) bullshit. Your "ilk" is what makes religion so hard to fathom. Your self righteous indignation presumes he worships hawking or the like. What Hawkins does has nothing to do with what you are trying to hock. It's very easy to belive in the tangible when there are so many dickweeds like yourself spewing your faith

By bigbadass 1164027587 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThey have a lot more than that. Its called string theory and M (Membrane) theory. In short there are 11 dimensions. In the 11th dimension all universes move around in the multiverse like bubbles in an ocean. Universes are in the shape of membranes. The sides of the membranes ripple and when two universes (Membranes) collide they create a big bang (or a new universe) and the matter is formed by the ripples of the membranes, which creates all the stars and matter in the new universe. This process has created an infinite amount of universes some almost identical to ours, others completely different with possibly its own very different laws of physics. Thats my basic understanding of membrane theory and string theory, its very complicated. Way to complicated for a post on metacafe. In short there is a theory of everything...
By BWCheese 1163454296 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSome scientists actually believe they could create a new universe in a lab, it would break off from our universe in less than a second and grow independently of ours. So in fact we could be the creaters of a new universe with its own life.
By BWCheese 1163454520 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethey actually accomplished this task. the galaxy resides on orion's belt.

By SemiStoned 1163506477 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehappen to have a reference for these scientists that think they can create a universe in the lab. i would like to read it if you do.
By rodem 1163459933 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell the reference I was referring to was a comment made by a physicist from I believe it was Princeton on the Science Channel special called Parallel Universe. I don’t know his name so without knowing his name I just googled "create universe in lab" and it actually appears there are plans to do it. This is not from the physicist I was referring to but from Japanese physicists. But here is a like that I found, im sure u can find better ones than this if u look. You gotta remove the spaces in the link.

are desperately looking for rational answers, but some things just can't be explained by science. Did God in fact create the universe, I don't know. But what I do know is that living in a world without imagination, believes or trust, would be very sad.
By Lil_Angel_1 1163505575 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removelook up 'the big crunch'. some believe that the universe eventually stops expanding and begins to collapse into a dimensionless singularity. in this theory the universe oscillates into a never-ending series of contractions and expansions with the ending of one universe ending in a crunch and causing a new universe to emerge in a bang. so i think what most cosmologists mean when they say "nothingness" is something without any measurable dimensions (height, width, depth and time), which by definition is nothingness.
theres actually lots of good theories about whether the universe is finite or infinite, almost all of which seem plausible.
if you gooogle "science and the quran accelerating universe" youll see what this video left out.
disclaimer: im just trying to be helpful i do not endorse islam or universes.
nothingness. More like emptyness. All of the matter in the universe existed, but it was compressed into a point that some theorize was the size of an atom. All of this energy could not be contained and therfore exploded and forced the matter together to form the atoms and molecules that we now have.
In another theory, this will happen again. At the center of every galaxy is a black hole that S**ks in all matter. Eventually, all of these black holes will merge in the exact opposite of the Big Bang and matter and time will cease to exist until the next Big Bang. This cycle could continue infinitely.
nothingness is more accurate than emptiness. the singularity was actually infinitely dense, meaning it was completely full. the reason the word nothingness is used is because the singularity was such that it does not have dimensions that can be measured.
By avgjoe 1163488729 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is where modern science is stuck with simplistic arguments such as "well it wasn't really nothingness. More like emptiness."... The truth of the matter is that modern science cannot and will not ever be able to figure out what created this first initial matter and reaction with material instruments. Mankind must come to grips with the reality of their being a greater and more power world of beings from which the world was born out of. Modern science is stuck with only observations that they can weigh, measure, and count. When more people start to enable their hidden faculties through occult science a new reality will open to them. Research esoteric Christianity and stop being a believer.
By vidar808 1163449015 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveEsoteric Christianity refers to the "occult" study and the mystic living of the esoteric knowledge related to what adherents view as the "inner teachings" of early Christianity, seen as a Mystery religion. The term is thought by some to be originally associated with the Essenes and, later, the Rosicrucians.
Oh wait it gets better... Some modern-day practitioners believe that the foundational teachings of Esoteric Christianity were publicly presented to the world in the early 20th century (1) in an effort to establish a future universal religion as mankind, with a more developed mind and will, walk forward to the understandings of an Universal Friendship. Its central aim is to aid each human being in his/her task of developing the Golden Wedding Garment, also defined by Paul of Tarsus "soma psuchicon" (Greek "soma" [body] and "psuchicon" [psu(y)che--soul]; the 'soul body'): the Christ Within that must be born.
let's all give up modern science for this feckin wacko RELIGiON.
Tell ya what go wrap yourself in your golden wedding garment find a nice puddle stick your face in it and inhale.
It is easy to make fun of something of which you have no understanding. That is what is wrong with much of modern science. Many believe our present understanding of the universe is close to perfect. The truth of the matter as evolution has shown up to the present is that is that there is still much to learn about ourselves and the universe. The development of faculties such as clairvoiyance will be an increasing fenomenon as individuals evolve. While there will be those that sit in denial and poke fun. A very deep understanding of mankind was developed by many cultures and hidden from literal interpretation through symbolism. The goal is to use the scientific model to understand the occult and to remove subjectivity.
By vidar808 1163493127 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI am not making fun of your flawed belief system. If you would pull your head out of your ass and read what you told me to look into you would see
OCCULT
Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation [uh-kuhlt, ok-uhlt]
–adjective 1. of or pertaining to magic, astrology, or any system claiming use or knowledge of secret or supernatural powers or agencies.
2. beyond the range of ordinary knowledge or understanding; mysterious.
3. secret; disclosed or communicated only to the initiated.
4. hidden from view.
fluff, make believe, anything you would like it to be. But only for the initiated which is easy to dismiss anyone who opposes your belief based on the fact that they havn't been initiated. You started this rant the second you added "Research esoteric Christianity and stop being a believer ". You question my reality and then pout with your "childish" comment. F**k you. you don't know S**t either.
Uhm well you wrote "feckin religious waco" in your text without any constructive criticism. It is easy to grab pieces of text off of the internet and paste it here as though that describes the whole of something.

By gibran 1163465509 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeand I think that it was started by a higher power. But the video has no logic, how does "He is the originator..." foreshadow the big bang?
By bikeguy721 1163945831 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIf theres a black hole at the center of every solar system, what at the center of the universe, a Mega Black hole? and if thats right, where does that hole lead to? an alternate universe? Groan my head hurts. Lol i cant wait to read the comments im sure some Creationists are going to leave in the near future.
By barnacleze 1163451637 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveEverybody in this room is comfortable using DNA to track criminals but when the same scientists talk about evolution or big-bang theory, everybody refers to the Bible or other scriptures. The fact is, nobody knows nothing. Scientists try to formulate something logical about the universe based on current scientific proofs like expansion of universe. Of course is the universe is expanding now, it doesn't mean it was a point billions of years ago, the big band theory is just a theory. At least science is not claiming that we are all sons and daughters of incest (Adam and eve), which is completely nonsensical.

There is a black hole at the centre of every solar system including our own. There are no gods only more advanced races and they are living among us now!
A star is at the ceter of our solar system... it's called the sun... not a black hole you idiot
