universe originated suddenly from a gigantic explosion from a single point?!?!? That's the best they got? The is more magic and fantasy then asking me to believe in unicorns or leprechauns... So from NOTHING came EVERYTHING?!? Can someone please show me that equation?

They have a lot more than that. Its called string theory and M (Membrane) theory. In short there are 11 dimensions. In the 11th dimension all universes move around in the multiverse like bubbles in an ocean. Universes are in the shape of membranes. The sides of the membranes ripple and when two universes (Membranes) collide they create a big bang (or a new universe) and the matter is formed by the ripples of the membranes, which creates all the stars and matter in the new universe. This process has created an infinite amount of universes some almost identical to ours, others completely different with possibly its own very different laws of physics. Thats my basic understanding of membrane theory and string theory, its very complicated. Way to complicated for a post on metacafe. In short there is a theory of everything...

Some scientists actually believe they could create a new universe in a lab, it would break off from our universe in less than a second and grow independently of ours. So in fact we could be the creaters of a new universe with its own life.

Well the reference I was referring to was a comment made by a physicist from I believe it was Princeton on the Science Channel special called Parallel Universe. I don’t know his name so without knowing his name I just googled "create universe in lab" and it actually appears there are plans to do it. This is not from the physicist I was referring to but from Japanese physicists. But here is a like that I found, im sure u can find better ones than this if u look. are desperately looking for rational answers, but some things just can't be explained by science. Did God in fact create the universe, I don't know. But what I do know is that living in a world without imagination, believes or trust, would be very sad.

look up 'the big crunch'. some believe that the universe eventually stops expanding and begins to collapse into a dimensionless singularity. in this theory the universe oscillates into a never-ending series of contractions and expansions with the ending of one universe ending in a crunch and causing a new universe to emerge in a bang. so i think what most cosmologists mean when they say "nothingness" is something without any measurable dimensions (height, width, depth and time), which by definition is nothingness.

theres actually lots of good theories about whether the universe is finite or infinite, almost all of which seem plausible.

nothingness. More like emptyness. All of the matter in the universe existed, but it was compressed into a point that some theorize was the size of an atom. All of this energy could not be contained and therfore exploded and forced the matter together to form the atoms and molecules that we now have.

In another theory, this will happen again. At the center of every galaxy is a black hole that S**ks in all matter. Eventually, all of these black holes will merge in the exact opposite of the Big Bang and matter and time will cease to exist until the next Big Bang. This cycle could continue infinitely.

nothingness is more accurate than emptiness. the singularity was actually infinitely dense, meaning it was completely full. the reason the word nothingness is used is because the singularity was such that it does not have dimensions that can be measured.

This is where modern science is stuck with simplistic arguments such as "well it wasn't really nothingness. More like emptiness."... The truth of the matter is that modern science cannot and will not ever be able to figure out what created this first initial matter and reaction with material instruments. Modern science is stuck with only observations that they can weigh, measure, and count. When more people start to enable their hidden faculties through occult science a new reality will open to them. It is easy to make fun of something of which you have no understanding. That is what is wrong with much of modern science. Many believe our present understanding of the universe is close to perfect. The truth of the matter as evolution has shown up to the present is that is that there is still much to learn about ourselves and the universe. The development of faculties such as clairvoiyance will be an increasing fenomenon as individuals evolve. While there will be those that sit in denial and poke fun. is the most widely accepted theory in scientific circles about the origin of the Universe. However, I think it takes a huge stretch of imagination (to say the least) that the Quran gave us this 'revelation' 1000 years ago with the vague quote it offered in this video! 'He is the originator of the Heavens and the Earth' means nothing.
