    • Your Right

This is ridiculous! Not hidden at all very misleading.
The telnet protocol connects to a server which is set up to run the text version of star wars - a new hope.

  • Ridiculous

This is like opening Internet Explorer and saying "see, it's on your computer!!"

  • It is perfectly safe to watch this

Whoever made this, he had put a lot of effort into it .. Congrats, I am really impressed that one person could do all that!

  • REPOST!!!

What is up with you lame people lurking here on Meta and eposting clips that were posted two days ago? It's ridiculous!!! Clear up the bandwidth for some new and unique videos! And it's not "hidden" in your computer. It's a telnet address, which means you are accessing a remote computer who has this stored on it.

I noticed that in this clip, the PC has all the icons highlighted / selected. I have accidentally done this to my girlfriends computer and would love to sort it! Any ideas? Thanks.

Excellent work, really well done, lots of effort. Guys you should watch it, after a while you forget it's characters and you begin to see it as the film.
No virus, computer still 100% alive, so stop being neurotic and watch the damn thing.

it's an internet source so there are a lot of logical explanations why the computer opens it.Next time use internet,it's faster!

    By erikaaaa 1163572716
  • Like you desktop image

Any way you can share your desktop image with us?

    By skilpad 1163570773
  • You Have To Be Connected to the Internet

It's not hidden on your computer, it is transmitted by a node
(computer) in another country accessed via telnet (a networking diagnostic tool included on windows 95 and later versions). If that node is disconnected from the internet the signal will not transmit.

    By millert604 1163558065
  • internet

Well just make sure you are connected to the internet before typing all that. and there is no virus here its just a unix application running on telnet port.

    By jeet_sg 1163556140
  • does it

play the entire movie? this is rediculous.

    By hornetz76 1163551220
  • seeing how slow his computer was running

im not gonna try it. probably has a million viruses after trying stupid S**t like this

    By cornebarrieau 1163536018
    • Hm.

I'd say he just set the video capture framerate too high for his Windows 98 to handle.

It doesn't release any viruses, it just runs an ASCII animation on your command prompt. It's harmless.

      By Amalga 1163551834
