it you talk about specific colors that you are modifying, so know what side you are referring to

For starters, theres 7 steps if you are doing it in this fashion, not 5. Step 3 is extremely poorly explained, seeing as he doesn't actually show where the top middle piece is about to go. Step 4 is in the wrong place, first you must make a cross on the top. Step 5 is just idiotic, especially since he didn't show how to get there. The final two steps go much smoother if you make a cross on top first then line up the middle portions of each color. Once all that is done, then you can solve for the corners. My explanation doesn't make much sense without a video, but if I can't find one that does a good job, I'll just post one myself.

This didn't help me very muc however it seems to have created a lot of interest amongst the people. I found a vid on youtube I think you should check out. The video ID: 97FTtWg_WYY.

To many moves for the average Joe to remember. He said the last layer had two steps. But there are so many real steps to finish it. I use three steps to do the bottom. I get the cross then the three corners swap then three corners flip. I use 1 step for each step. No looking at the cube saying I need to do it this way. One different way then I would show you. You do look at the cube but not to see it you use a different step because you use the same step each step. 3 steps each step has only one way of doing it

too confusing, i can do the cube easy and know a better way. in the forth step i had no idea what he was doing????

Try to focus on the vid and have a rubiks with you and try to follow and understand the instructions and you probably solve it like me. It wouldn't earn $3,060 if its not clear....

doesn't work. They won't go back on. I can't tell you how many people have come up to me at school when I'm solving my cube and say "I have no idea how to do it, I just take the stickers off."

When Rubiks cubes first came out, I got a booklet (written by a 12 year old) (I still have it). Following his instructions I was able to solve it, but it still took at least a half hour for me, even with good instructions!!!

take a screwdriver to a edge peace use the screwdriver as a wedge and take it apart then put together appropreately (last peace is hard i like to slam it to a table)

was 99% done.. had to swap jus a few blocks.. but no soultions for it... i tried the last one.. and it totally messed it up.. grrrr.. but.. after 10 mins of redoing... i was back on track... compared to the 2 hours the first time... thanks for the help

Whoever doesn't understand these instructions has mental problems. It's as clear as water ffs!

i need a better explantion on the 3rd layer of solving the edge peices and corner peices.when i try to swap the corners peices the ones on the other side mess up too.also i need pretty much full explantion on the last layer.but you did awsome steps for first and second

This video is superb and it is perfect for an intelligent person who desperately wants to solve all the puzzles under the sky. This needs patience and surely needs intereset from inside. This one is not for those who looks at the negative side of the video leaving the abundant information present on the postive side. I never thought I can complete the cube in my life time. for the first step you try and get 2,4,6,and 8 to match on all sides the middle cube is the key(it cannot move)

Greetings. I reached step 4 and I now encounters a solving problem. I cannot get all the 4 corners to get set up properly. I succeeded in orienting the corners, but when it comes to placing the colors in the proper place, it doesn't work out. How do I combine part 1 and 2 of Step 4? Thank you.

They took the 'solved' cube and messed it up and ran the film backward and described in reverse how the guy messed it up to get to the 'solves' puzzle. Either that or I am too dense to figure this out.

the mistake here in this tutorial is that words are speaken before action. how can we understand every step if you speak continuously but the action does not correspond to your every word?!?!!!! one of the poorest tutorials ever made!

Everything makes sense eventually for steps 1-3. I have gotten there, but step 4 goes way to quick for me and now I am thoroughly confused. More than that, I'm scared to hell I'm going to mess up all the work ive already done.

Maybe you should cut out the voice in this vid. It sometimes doesn't say anything when its rotating. Also it would be good if the voice didn't mix up clock wise and counter clock wise. Use color names also. I hate rubix cubes, but this video should go to hell.
