Bipasha Basu to Play the Role of a Commercial Sex Worker

After Preity Zinta, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee, now it’s Bipasha Basu who is going to play the role of a commercial sex worker. The very famous director Sudipto Chattopadhyay, who is awaiting his movie Pankh’s release, has offered another role to the Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu for his next film “Sonagachi”. Sonagachi is one of Asia's largest red-light districts in Kolkata with more than 10,000 sex workers. The film will be based on the story of a prostitute living in sonagachi, who raises a child suffering from Paraphilia. The movie will revolve around the hardships faced by the protagonist in raising the child.

Bipasha Basu is known for playing bold roles across various movies such as Jism, Ajnabee, No entry, and more. So playing a bolder role for yet another movie wouldn’t be that difficult for her.
