    Look - I don't like war, killing or destruction. I'm a soldier and do what I'm told. One of the many unfortunate things about THIS war is that the Iraqis are so loathe to defend their own country - they expect us to do it for them. I could hold forth on the many injustices this conflict triggered (rich man's war, poor man's fight; clash of cultures; preview of Armageddon, etc), none of which will make a great deal of difference. I would submit, however, that if radical Islam put the same constraints on itself as they do on everyone else, the United States would have been out of Iraq 18 months ago. I also suggest that if radical Islam wants to continue with the killing and bloodshed, I'll gladly do my job again, and send some more to meet Allah.

      That your brain can't comprehend our history of what happened in Germany. The world at first turned a blind eye towards the holocaust. It wasn't till the end did we fully realized the gravity of the horrors that a group of people would do to others if they are left un-checked. Don't let your hatred of war make you turn your head away from the truth. It's very simple, if we where there for the oil we would have had low gas prices by now. You don't see that happening do you. So the question is why is U.S. in a war with Iraq? Let's see now ... HMMM ..... Could it be that they tried to over take Kuwait? or the fact that the agreed to allow inspectors from the U.N. there to monitor there activities to which we would stop our campaign from the Kuwait war but they turn around after a well and band them from monitoring. How about the thousands of Kurds he killed to cleanse the north (sound familiar) and put them in mass graves because he killed so many of them. But let us not forget his public statement to the world that he will pay any person a fortune if they attack U.S. and out right said that he is at war with the U.S. Take your pick. So what if they couldn't find any weapons of mass destruction. Anybody with half a brain can realize that it can easily be transported out of country in the onset of war. Especially if you’re neighboring countries are poster child of terrorist activities. Come on now ... think about it ... if we all had the same ideology as you, we would be in Hitler land. DON"T BE SO IGNORANT.

    it robs, it kills, it destroys and disfigures.
    But I alwo hate tyranny, seeing people oppressed and abused. I hate seeing religious extremists kill in the name of their god.
    And I also love freedom. So I have to honor and respect the US Marines, and their unmitigated dedication to lay it all on the line to keep a free people free, and to help the oppressed wherever they may be, whether it be popular or not, whether appreciated or cursed by the masses. God bless the US Marine corps, and all of our fighting men and women.
