  • Spitfire???

    I know the commentator is speaking regarding the Supermarine "Spitfire" employed by the British in their famous stand in what is known as the Battle of Britain, but this aircraft appears to be the Hawker Hurricane. Notice the symmetry of the air intakes beneath the wings. On the Supermarine Spitfire, the underside of the wings are not symmetrical. Apart from that, I thought it was a pretty cool vid'. I'm glad I wasn't the one standing there with a tail-dragger of a fighter taking of from a grass strip in my general direction. I'd have shat my breeches quite full, thank you!
