      Hey!
      If Russia was so great, why did you move here? As a matter of fact, I work with about 20 Russians who have all moved here for a "better" life. Not only that, but the integrity of the people I have known has not been of the highest matter.
      A country that believes people should not think for themselves, but instead makes everyone do what they say, doesn't make people stronger, only unable to think and decide for themselves. Maybe they are tough mentally, because they have had no joy growing up- only tough conditions. Sounds like no fun to me....

      what those kids are getting isint torture or hatred they are getting attention respect and training like no other in the world. Like they said 3 or 4 years down the road those kids are bringing home gold medals and honor. In america is where kids are tortured. Stupid kids come out of school. bring home whores who they call girlfriends and work at minimum wage jobs all their lives. Send your kids to russia to be trained for life not like american schools where the kids are dumber then a pile of S**t and graduate from high school knowing nothing but algebra and how to eat healthy.. and america is stil the most obese place in the world..

  • I used to train for karate like this..

    It's so painful (stretching), I was crying.... But, you feel proud after, when you're finished.

    Also, I was disciplined by my dad since a young age.

    T think there is nothing wrong with discipline, as long as it doesn't include cruel or sadistic people.

    they do this to increase flexibility so they can do better handstands,back hand springs, etc so it will help them alot with training and yes it hurts BAD trust me....

    Oh yes I remember the Communist dominance in gymnastics in the Olympics in the 1970s and 80s. Starting in the 50s, tots who showed athletic promise were sent to year-round training camps / factories to bring home future medals. This was done to "prove" to the world that Communism was a superior culture and lifestyle.

    Imagine what the British film crew wasn't allowed to see. (Hint: improved drug-testing was a major reason for the 1984 Olympic boycott)
