As you can see on our web site, there are still quite a few grips that you can choose from in this style, so you are basically deciding between brands at this point. However, there are some subtle differences between some of the grips that may be useful in helping you make your final purchasing decision.First, sort the grips by brand from A to Z to look at them in conjunction with the video.English Bulldog introduced their narrow grips quite a few years ago and then just recently introduced an even narrower grip in 2008, which are the Kippers. The Kippers are skinnier than the English Bulldog Narrow Grips, have a smaller head on the grip and a slightly smaller dowel as well. You will also notice that in the buckle closure, the Kippers have a single buckle whereas the English Bulldog Narrow grips have a double buckle. The Just Right Grips are a new addition that we have recently added to our lineup of the Narrow style of ladies grips. You will notice that there are actually three different closures in this grip Velcro, Single Buckle, and Double Buckle. The Just Right Uneven Bar Grips are well-made grips that are starting to gain some traction in our store. The Hot Shot Grips are our best-selling ladies grips in the Narrow style. They come in either a single buckle or Velcro closure. There are two notable differences between this grip and the Kippers or Just Right Grips. First is that there is a thin layer of padding that lines the inside of the wrist cuff on the Hot Shop grips. Second, you see that there is an elastic band attached to the dowel of the grips. Gymnasts can use this band to help prevent their fingers from sliding out of the holes of the grips while swinging. If the gymnast chooses not to use the band, it can be easily removed. The last brand of uneven bar grips we carry in the Narrow style are the Millennium Grips. We have these classified in the Narrow style of grip because the palm tapers in the middle as compared to a pair of Regular Width Grips. However, these grips are not as narrow as the Hot Shot, Just Right or Kipper Grips. Each of these are designed for younger gymnasts that are just starting out in Dowel grips and they are only available up to a size 1. So when the gymnast grows out of a size 1, they will need to move to a different style of grips. The Millennium Grips solve that problem by being available in a size 00, all the way up to a size 3. A lot of girls that start out using the Hot Shot grips will then graduate up to the Millennium style of grips. The Millennium One Grips are offered in either a Velcro or Single Buckle Closure. The Millennium Two Grips are exactly the same as the Millennium One Velcro Grips except that they have a neoprene padding sewn into the wrist cuff of the grip.Hopefully this video has helped you in making your final purchasing decision for Womens Narrow Uneven Bar grips.
