I increased my browser and my computer load speed from 15 sec to 1! Fix the bug that hasn't been fixed yet that makes your browser and my computer load really slow.
do u think microsoft just put this file to slow ur computer? it might be needed for the operating system to do somethin. read more about the file before u delete any thing
By Yanni82 1164006768 Reply Spam [+3] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou can't even imagine how much of pure sh*t has been stuffed in the registry hive. You can delete half of registry without having any consequences (that is if you know which half to remove, otherwise you'll have to spend some quality time re-installing the system :)) And the operative word here is THINK. Microsoft wasn't THINKING, it was pushing towards release date substituting quality with quantity. Perks of an industry as a whole.
By lagin 1164889692 Reply Spam [+3] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removedeffo works, i knew this tip from windows 2000 like he says, i've fixed this bug a long time ago, it really does work, dont have any fears of ebing hacked or whatever, and whoever says " nah deleting regedit dont workm8s " doesnt know f*ck all bout computers :)
By stanzy 1163866655 Reply Spam [+3] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveGood to see someone has done it before and it worked :)
By Beermonkey 1163929943 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDo not delete anything from the registry! Only work from the registry if you know Windows inside out - different Windows GUIs (operating systems are all DOS on which Windows is based) have different registry keys. Windows 98, ME will have a different key structure to that of XP. It makes more sense to look into your startup manager (or download and install a similar program). In your startup manager you can select which programs are automatically booted on startup - most of these will be essential operating system applications. Anything taking longer than 15secs is likely to be a secondary installation or spyware which should be detected by many of the free 'spyware' detection programs.
By NickRivers 1167775768 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou're a great help!! I tried it and it really worked!!!
By dickies06 1163736658 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveGlad to see it worked for you :P
By Beermonkey 1163759297 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethanxz alot it workz...good job beermonkey!!!
By pipesunderground 1167753225 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe Key is in the registry as Beermonkey has pointed out. Using Regedit - navigate to the Key he has in his video (also posted above on his thread.)
Before you delete - right click on the Namespace subkey, select Export. This will save Namespace as a small *.reg file I called mine Namespace.reg
But why edit the registry and delete keys when u can just disable the Task Scheduler in Services. It's exactly the same thing (control panel/ administrative tools/ services)
Besides, here u have the option to actually enable it again.
Obviously you pc will start faster, but don't expect any program that relies on it to work anymore.
I suggest you set it from auto to manual. If a program tries to access the task scheduler it will be started.
you're computer that long to load up my computer then you should really think about getting a new pc!(and i'm not joking!)

By chocobeer89 1168264719 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove20 seconds? Wtf? If it takes that long its about time you bought a new computer.
Mine opens everything in less then a second, and its almost 3 years old.
You got a 500mhz or something?
Really!! is 14 secs make a big difference? Tell me what " importent task " can you accomplish in 14 secs while your program is loading? However the steps you showed may have work, but that is not the way to fix your window speed problems, because you are not possitively sure that it will not cause problems in the long run. However if you are going to do another help tip videos, please make sure that people can read your screen, and explaine more clearly.

This registry key is part of the Classes CLSID registry keys which should on no account be deleted! This key is responsible for the C:\WINDOWS\ SYSTEM\ mstask.dll file and schedules computer tasks to run automatically. Once deleted you cannot restore it without installing your entire Windows' operating system'. It is a required system file for boot-up and to suggest that the associated registry should be deleted is just malicious! Either Beermonkey is simply inexperienced and hacks around in his registry 'trial and error' or he is deliberately inviting other PC users to mess up their computer. If you are able to find this registry key; open it and read the contents of its associated folders - you will see that it relates to the C:\WINDOWS\ SYSTEM\ mstask.dll file Do you really want to delete this!!??
