Jordan is the best, but like someone said not because of his dunks. Compare him to anyone in the nba and the answer is easy. As of right now, the only person who can be considered the next mj is Kobe Bryant, but if u know basketball, u know kobe will never be the next mj. Lebron james, yea offensively he is jordan, he can move like him, dunk like him, knows when to let the ball go, however he doesnt have that defensive knack that jordan had, without the ball James is just another player on the court. This is true for alof of the nbas leaders right now, except for kobe bryant. Kobe like Jordan can play offensive, whether with the ball or without, can play defense, and just owns the court when he plays. However he will never be jordan because simply, his horrific ego. Jordan had his stuck up moments too, however, if u watch jordan play, he wasnt the only one kikin a$$ on the court, the entire bulls team was there. Take Pipin for example, he is considered to be one of the greats, but watch him play when jordan wasnt around. Pipin is a good player, and always will be, but because of jordan he looked like a great player. The same with Kerr, Rodman, Harper, longly, the ENTIRE team. Jordan had the ability to glow with greatness, and his team glowed with that same greatness. This is the Main reason JOrdans the best, its what really seperates him from the rest of the so called "next jordans". Kobe however, well we see him taking more shots than anyone else in all his games...sure they guys got the skills, but....he will never be jordan, I dont think anyone could be better than jordan.

The league is not the same after Jordan left, today there are some good players in the league but no one like Mike. Imo the one that gets closer to MJ by the way he plays is Dwane Wade . 1. James White- Dunked from the free throw line in a game. and he can windmill from the free throw line as well. Ooh yeah he can also preform threw the legs dunk from the free throw. (6,2)
2. Kadour Ziani- 5 foot 9 inches. IS THE ONLY PERSON TO EVER PREFORM A DOUBLE WINDMILL. And he can also dunk from the free throw line as well. he once dunked over a car from the free throw line. Vertical is 5 feet
3. Jordan is a great dunker with a 48 inch vertical but hes not that great. Hes the best player. I wouldn't say hes the best dunker.

how does the name Dwayne Wade sound... yes thats the guy.. the reason they consider jordan 'the greatest' isn't because of his showstopping dunks, his charismatic personality, his lightning speed or his sweet fadeaway jumper.
