Yesterday one would physically go to someone's house to see if they were around; today we usually call someone to see if they're around. What if you could just know if, for example, your loved one is around and when? The Ambient Clock is a prototype of an unobtrusive display of presence; the clock communicates with its pair clock, which both record times that each clock detected motion and presence. This is a movie that explains how the Ambient Clock works and shows a situation in which it may be used.
