    im practicing but the toothpick is onli twitching.... explain this in a more noob manner. like how hard do i push the toothpick? does position (tip, body) matter? etc...

      it's easier to do with two fingers. Hold the toothpick between your index finger and your thumb. But hold your thumb in a way (by bending your thumb) that the toothpick is between the nail of your thumb and your index finger.

        First of all make sure your nails are clean. I find it to work better with a little bit of salayva on the nail. hold one end of the toothpick with your thumb and your index finger. With your thumb and your index finger holding it tightly bring your middle finger under the toothpick so that your middle finger's nail is touching the toothpick, now with your middle finger's nail touching the toothpick push your middle finger away from your body applying heavy pressure on the toothpick at the same time slide your middle finger's nail downward and you will start to hear a faint clicking sound and now you get onother toothpick and place it on the middle outside of your palm then place the toothpick that is held by your fingers under the one the palm is holding and lift it up a little then do the process i explained then you should see it jump. Hope it works guys cause when you do this trick in a reastaraunt it make the crowd go wild..lol
