www.swimacrossamerica.org. Swim Across America is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through swimming - related events. Recently we partnered with Richard Quick, the winningest swimming coach in NCAA Division 1 swimming history, soon after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. On June 10th, 2009, Coach Quick succumbed to the effects of the tumor, but not before his impact was felt. During his brief association with us his foundation, Swim Quick, raised over $80,000 and that legacy will continue for as long as it takes to find a cure.
