  a cage but if you will notice there is only one male he has a mane...... all the others are females just thought you might want to know the difference.

- Watch the whole thing
  You will see that at about 30 seconds he is playing with several clearly male lions. And also in the first 30 seconds it is clear that they are male lions. Female lions are totally different.

  you were correct in the very beginning there are several male lions. I thought you were commenting on the second part where he walks into the encloseure that has many females and maybe one male. my bad for commenting that there was only one male.
  it is not that uncommon for several male lions to be cooped up in the same pen while being held captive. but out in the wild there is only room for one male within a pride.
