    yeah, they calmed it down too much. The whole point of Tom And Jerry was that they were enemies, mouse and cat going at it. These cartoons were decent, but when they became friends, I just wanted to watch the old ones. Good intro though.

    Never was quite as wild about this 1970s version of T&J since they toned down
    (at least to me) alot of the mayhem that you got from the earlier T&J cartoons and sanitized alot of Tex Avery characters like Droopy and the Wolf really making them a bit too family friendly IMHO,
    But that's just me.
