  All of the Medievil fairs that go on are by history buffs who enjoy that period in time. Check out www. viduramziai. lt (spaces added of course). They reinact archery competitions that were held in the Middle Ages. This was for sport and helped leaders know whom was among the best of archers in order to know the power of their army. Again, do research before you make statements. It keeps you from looking foolish.

  that archery nowadays is easier than it was 700 years ago? sure there have been advancements e,g materials the bow is made of but thats not to say it takes any less skill. Fair play archers!!!
