The first ever Hindu Dharma Sabha (Hinduism Meet) in North America will be held by the Forum for Hindu Awakening (FHA) with support from noteworthy spiritual and Hindu organizations, on Ashadh Krushna Ekadashi 5111 (18 July 2009) at Durga Temple of Virginia, near Washington DC. The Hinduism Meet will feature prominent Hindu leaders from across North America, giving their views on:
- Understanding the unique spiritual science and scientific history underlying Hinduism
- Awakening to the misconceptions about Hinduism
- Living simple practices and concepts of Hinduism in day-to-day life
- Preserving the sanctity of Hinduism from denigration and malpractices.

This ground breaking event will commence and conclude with auspicious recitations from the Vedas and ancient Hindu Scriptures.
