Police Once Again [13+]

Police is always right! He had it coming. Stupid criminal.

There is a guideline called the Use of Force Continuum. Essentially it means that whatever level of resistance that the officer is faced with, that officer will step the use of force up higher than the level of resistance. This violator was refusing to comply with every verbal directive given to him by the police and was actively resistive, as opposed to being passively resistive. He was grabbing the police officer's hands and wrists. The officer used the next level of force to contain the situation and protect himself, his partner and the public. Whatever card the violator plays, the police officer will trump it. For those who categorize police officers as gun toting renegades, keep this thought in mind; the next time you need a police officer, call a crackhead instead and see how your situation pans out for you.

If you are doing something so bad that the police have to pin you down you need to have your face beat in. This kind of thing doesn't bother me because I don't have to worry about this happening to me. Just don't do stupid sh*t that the police will get you for and skip the problem all together.

if u guys have seen the whole clip, u would see that before they came to this, then "criminal" did threat the police, try to hit them and kick them... the man lying down is reasisting an a arrest, and when he already have use violence against the police, the police have the right to use power to hold him down..

that guy was staging to make him look like a victim. saying he can't breath. hello? .. hello? .. it takes breathing in order to talk. so he starts resisting to force the cops hand to use force so it looks like he is being abused. lol stupid guy it may look at first glance like the cops are using excessive force but when you really look at it and the guys hands you can clearly see that he was provoking the situation. In court when they really look at the evidence carefully, they will see through that sham.

if I was a cop or not, if someone hit me and I pinned them down, I would have done more than love tap them a few times. I would get a rock and fucking beat them with it...

Statistics don't lie. Police coneheads are 2 times more likely to commit crimes than normal citizens and their spousal abuse is 3 times the national average. Time to stop assuming that sociopaths are capable of serving and protecting. Sociopaths are only interested in serving and protecting themselves.

When the guy on the ground grabbed the officer's thigh, he was just tying to get some releif.

the cop on the rigtht was just beating this guy. He did'nt even say anything at that point. I understand the fact that the officers are pissed, but they have to be PROFESSIONALS. The guy was already down. No need to keep beating him up.

do u guys even hear the guy screaming i cant breath? to survive even if u dont want too ur body will react in any way for that one breath. i agree with the use of force continuum but in no way it means shot the guy just because he has a gun!,to punch a choked criminal who is obviously over powered by two cops isn't fair and proper way to act. they can just taser him without even touching him, the guy is obviously big enough to handle it . so it wasn't necessary to harass him.

I think this one is borderline assault by the cop but knowing how much of a pain in the ass people can be and how dangerous they can be when they are being arrested I'd give them the benefit of doubt. They deal with assholes all the time. I have been in a policing role and its not easy but experience and judgement that cannot be conveyed on a cam clip are important considerations. There are occasions when cops go over the top and let loose a few physical gifts to these jerks without justification but its a tough call and a tough job. As far as Im concerned the law should be changed and ALLOW cops to kick the living shit out of people who refuse to cooperate. If you want to give a cop some grief make an official complaint after the fact through the right channels but dont give them grief when you are being arrested as 99 times out of 100 you lose and make things worse for yourself. Although there are some shitty cops out there the majority are only doing a difficult job the best they can, if you want to make it more difficult for them then you deserve a smack in the mouth. Bad cops always get caught out sooner or later so why try making all cops out to be bad by being a complete asshole? Id rather see this asshole locked up for being a dick head than see a cop who may be great at his job being given a bad rep because he got annoyed with perhaps the 100th asshole hes arrested that week!

I guarantee anyone who thought that officer used aggressive force has something personally againest police officers and/or could and never wanted to be one themselves... ottom line u resist arrest, u get your ass beat. I have many friends that are in the police force and I respect them and almost all others that are willing to risk their lives for the safety of all of us. RESPECT THE LAW! Or get the f#@k out!

... fuckwits ! Regardless of what happened before, the police officer in question had his knee on the guys neck. If any of you tough guys have ever had pressure placed on your throat area you'd know that it restricts the flow of oxygen. He kept stating to the police officers that he couldn't breathe. Could it have been a ploy to get the officers to release pressure so that he could break free ? Maybe, but in that position he couldn't have done much. He even went as far as to say " please ".

I know I'm probably going to get a lot of slack for this. But that's what comes from relying on your side arm too much and not on one's skill in unarmed combat.
