i hate to be the critical one but you should try creating some parts of the model separatly (the eyes, the ears for exemple). It's pretty nice! And about z-brush...
when i'll have the time will try it out... for now 3d max 2 it's all i need!

Dude!!
You should definatly try out Z-Brush its one of my all time faves, lets just say what u made there wud be like cuttin a hard boiled egg with a butcher knife with ure skills, if u do get it ill post a tut on its basic functions, and yes, u can import/export to 3d max as well and detail it, i love it

  i used: AutoScreenRecorder 2.0 Free
  saved it in DIVX then convert to wmv
  with microsoft movie maker.
