Normal, Illinois and Boring, Oregon duke it out the rough and tough way… in an egg toss. Yes, this may look like a monotonous competition, but this could lead one of these towns to win Toshiba laptops for their local schools.

Boring vs. Normal is a campaign created by Toshiba created to showcase people achieving new things with a laptop that they didn’t think they could do; such as starting an online business; creating a website; sharing photos of their newborn with dad traveling overseas; learning to play the piano; writing sermons; etc. So, Toshiba decided to bring their laptops in places that needed some excitement: Boring, Oregon and Normal, Illinois.

Starting Monday, July 27, 2009 you can follow all of the competition and cast your vote at BoringvsNormal.com as Boring and Normal face-off to prove which town can be more exciting with the help of Toshiba laptops.

    Hey folks, the Boring vs. Normal campaign is wrapping up on September 13th! When you visit boringvsnormal.com, you can watch the videos and cast votes for the town you think achieved more with their laptops throughout the entire campaign. Toshiba will announce the winning town September 14, 2009 and award the winning town's schools a technology upgrade.
