Big Apple Gets Restroom Relief: First-Ever Free Fully-Staffed Public Restroom Facility Unveiled, Just In Time for the Holiday Season!

During the holidays finding clean, accessible public restrooms can be difficult. Now, 20 free, deluxe restrooms fully-staffed with attendants who service each stall after every use are open in New York City's Times Square. As a gift to New Yorkers and tourists this holiday season, the Charmin Restrooms offer the convenience of free, accessible, family-friendly public restrooms when they are needed most. Additional amenities include two baby changing stations, stroller parking, lounge areas, tourist information, entertainment and aromatherapy.

An estimated 15.3 million people from around the globe will visit New York this holiday season, and more than 330,000 people are expected to visit the restrooms. With that many visitors, approximately 43,200 regular rolls of bath tissue, or 10,800 Mega Rolls, are expected to be used during the season. And entertainment is provided...Times Square's infamous Naked Cowboy will be on site the week of Thanksgiving.

Charmin Restrooms are open to the public from 8 AM-11 PM, 7 days a week. Restrooms are open until 6pm New Year's Eve including all day on Thanksgiving and until 6pm on Christmas Eve (closed on Christmas day).
